Inspiration comes from many sources: my surroundings, thoughts and insights, a particular colour, a shape, a commission… For example when I lived in Qatar I was inspired to paint local landmarks and frame them with some of the beautiful Arabic patterns and designs  This allowed me to explore the mathematical intricacy of these patterns and I then found different ways of incorporating them into other paintings. 

I’m also very interested in exploring the process of inner transformation -which is life, really-, and how best to paint that process.  My goal is to produce artwork that will inspire the viewers, uplift them, and hopefully intrigue them enough to start wondering… I hope you enjoy browsing through my artworks as much as I enjoyed painting them. Please note that even with commissions for the same subject, no 2 paintings are exactly alike, each is an original.
